We have some great workshop opportunities coming up, please share with anyone you think might be interested.
We have the potential to run some more workshops in Middlezoy, including:
Making Beeswax Wraps - these can be used as a reusable replacement for cling film.
Printmaking workshop by Jackie Curtis (www.jcurtisart.com). Could be from natural materials, leaves, feathers etc.
Also more workshops with Lu Lloyd of Pallker Art Glass at Willows Centre (www.pallkerartglass.co.uk). All groups of 4 at a time on Thursday nights at Willows & Wetlands Centre, £25 per person. These could include:
Cut glass introduction (making a hanging mobile). Here is a link to a previous session we held in 2019.
Melted Glass introduction.
Food Craft
There has been some interested in other types of activity, related to food. We have potential for:
A practical workshop on fermentation, including healthy gut foods. Things like sauerkraut, kimchi, kamboocha. Again we need indications of number of interested people to work out the cost and timings. This would be in Middlezoy (venue tbc).
Withies Delicatessen (www.withiesdelicatessen.com) at the Willows & Wetlands Centre. Time, venue and cost tbd based on numbers interested.
If you are interested in any of these, or ideas for other potential workshops, please get in touch!
